Whew! Cat chasing can be exhausting work—this is truly the paws that refreshes. Use fresh bananas and your dogs will love you a bunch!

Keep in mind, these weekly recipes are not only all natural, but they are perfect bites for you and the dog in your life to share (just use separate bowls!).

Ingredients checklist:

  • 1 1/2 cups ripe mashed bananas

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 3 cups oats

  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

  • 1/4 cup applesauce

Think this smells delicious now? Just wait until these tasty delights come out of the oven! The recipe makes about 20 mutt pleasers.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.

  3. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto an ungreased baking sheet, and press flat with a fork.

  4. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, then cool on a rack before serving. Store in an airtight container.

These Banana Mutt Cookies are always a huge hit—for furry and non-furry friends alike.
