Forms for Adopting and Fostering

Adoption Form
Click "Adoption Application" to fill out and submit it immediately. Applications received before noon on an animal's available date will be considered after any in-person applications submitted between 11am and noon.
Important Note: Not every animal available for adoption is listed online. Puppies and kittens, for example, are rarely posted because they get adopted so quickly, but LRAV almost always has them on hand.
The animals you see listed represent only a fraction of those currently in need of a home.
Kitten and Cat Foster Form
When you foster cats or kittens for the Little Rock Animal Village, you open up space at the shelter, keep your foster pet healthy, and give them something a kennel simply can't: time spent learning what it feels like to live in a real home.

Cat fostering opportunities range from nursing moms and their litters to young kittens not yet ready for the shelter to cats of all ages recovering from illness or injury. We are always in need of more cat and kitten fosters. Foster training is available, by request, through our dedicated volunteers and fosters.

Dog Fostering
LRAV does not currently run its own dog foster program, but you still have options. If there's a specific dog or puppy you'd like to foster, reach out to one of the organizations listed below about pulling the animal into their program. If a rescue agrees to take the animal, they can submit the Dog Adoption Application.
Please keep in mind that contacting a rescue is not a guarantee they will be able to pull the dog, and any rescue that does will assume full responsibility and liability for the animal.

Unable to adopt or foster but still want to help?
Donating, volunteering, and sharing our social media posts are all meaningful ways to support the animals at LRAV
