Kristen was an animal lover. Her first love was Blink, her Pomeranian. Her cat Samsten, or "Sammy", and

her Pomeranian Bixie have been her loyal four-legged companions since.

Kristen's family requested that a fund to benefit the Little Rock Animal Village be established in her honor. Kristen was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, and her family and friends wish to preserve her legacy by establishing the "Paws for a Cause" fund to help animals in need. Her light will continue to shine through this fund, as a beacon of hope for countless lost and abandoned pets.
