EPISODE 2 - Rescue Waggin': Tales from the Road

A truckload of puppies just left the Little Rock Animal Village on the Rescue Waggin! Petsmart Charities Rescue Waggin has been such a wonderful program for the Little Rock Animal Village. Every year, hundreds of dogs from the Village take a trip on the Rescue Waggin to destination shelters up north, where they're typically adopted into wonderful forever homes within 48 hours of their arrival.

In Episode 2 of Rescue Waggin': Tales from the Road, we are introduced to sweet Jake, a dog that director / producer Adam Shankman rescued from a box in a parking lot. You'll meet some of the homeless dogs, like Jake, that are saved every day through PetSmart Charities Rescue Waggin' program. Then Rescue Waggin' drivers Debbie and Jesse and Carthage Humane Society staff show you how they get adoptable dogs ready for the most important journey of their lives.

Last Spring, PetSmart Charities teamed up with actor/producer Josh Duhamel and his production company, Dakotakid Media, to launch this series, Rescue Waggin'®: Tales from the Road. The 8-episode web series includes cameos from celebrity pet adoption advocates including Kristen Bell, Adam Shankman, and Bret Michaels.
