Recipe of the Week :: Chow Italiano
Mama Mia! With these on the menu your pup won't want to rome. Keep in mind, these weekly recipes are not only all natural, but they are perfect bites for you and the dog in your life to share (just use separate bowls!).
8 ounces thin spaghetti or similar pasta
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup skim milk
8 ounces tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
4 ounces low-fat mozarella cheese, shredded
You'll be mind blown that this few ingredients can create the finished Chow Italiano! The recipe makes 12 servings.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook spaghetti, drain and rinse in hot water.
Toss with beaten egg and milk, then stir in tomato sauce and water.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for 45 minutes.
Cool, cut into squares and serve. Store leftovers in a sealed container and refrigerate.
Oh, bambino, you're in business now!
